Content That Connects
The Choose Well Video Library started as a resource Mister Brown used to follow up with students after visiting schools in person. In partnering with educators, the question of “what happens next"?” continued to emerge. How can the Choose Well message be more than just another “one-and-done” lesson? Mister Brown’s desire has always been to deliver Content that Connects, rather than become just another talking head.
As teachers began using Choose Well videos during their advisory time, Mister Brown began curating more content to address the topics and issues teachers were noticing in the classroom. Videos are created in a vlog style - speaking a language students can relate to, and connecting through a medium they are used to watching (tik tok/youtube, etc).
Making Your Job Easier
Over the past year we have been building the Video Library to be a resource in and of itself. Each video series has been created with age-appropriate content: Elementary, Junior High, and High School.
The Choose Well Video Library is designed to work seamlessly with curriculum teachers are already using. Each video series comes with a set of questions that can be used as discussion and/or writing prompts. Watch this video for an example of how some teachers have used videos in their classrooms.

What people are saying
-
Student
“I love your content. About a week ago, my class finished watching the "I choose responsibility" series. You've helped me become a better person.”
-
Counselor
“I love the [Choose Well] videos, I am currently using them in my character education class for k-3 grade. They are quick, they hold the kids attention, and the kids always want more. We do one at a time and it provides really meaningful conversations afterwards. The discussion gets really deep. It makes it easy for me because I am able to show the video and the discussion just leads itself.”
-
Teacher
“… your videos are absolutely wonderful. I am a teacher of young adults with disabilities. I struggle to find videos that get to the point I need the students to learn… Your videos are spot on and my students are saying, “I am responsible for me” just the way you say it! Thank you so much!
